Accessible art programs · Akron

Creative participation should welcome more people in.

Unlimited Imagination Foundation is working toward art experiences that consider the barriers people may face—and make it easier to ask what support is available.

Our direction

Accessibility begins with listening.

We cannot promise that every setting or activity will meet every need. We can ask earlier, communicate clearly, and use community feedback to plan more thoughtfully.

Clear program information

Confirmed listings should explain location, timing, age guidance, materials, cost, and known participation details before registration.

Approachable entry points

Beginner-friendly language, flexible ways to engage, and room for different experience levels can make starting feel easier.

Cost awareness

UIF’s mission includes expanding access. Sponsorships, donated supplies, and community support can help reduce financial barriers when available.

Space to ask

Participants can share access or accommodation considerations through the interest form without providing private medical details.

Help shape the work

Tell us what would make participation easier.

Useful feedback might involve communication preferences, sensory environment, mobility, materials, cost, scheduling, age, or experience level. Share only what you are comfortable sharing.
